We have made sure to include and revamp your most beloved features from the old website. These include:
DrummingMad was founded on the desire to make scores more readily available worldwide. One of the DrummingMad community’s favourite features of the previous website was the free downloadable scores. With this new website we have redesigned the Score Store to include both free (available now) and purchasable scores (coming soon!). You can easily filter your search results by the degree of difficulty, composer, time signature and more, making it easier to find the perfect score for your requirements!
Our new DrummingMad shop makes it easier for you to browse and purchase all your favourite DrummingMad products! The new site now enables you to register with us and create your own account, making the checkout process much quicker by remembering your details for next time. You can also see your wishlist and order history.
We are often contacted from people all over the world looking for a pipe band in their area, both to join and for hiring the band. Our ‘Find Your Local Pipe Band’ (FYLPB) database is our solution to this.
The database works just like a store locator for shops and business except when you type in your city, it locates the closest pipe band instead of a store or business! Each band has a description and details about when and where they practice and how to get in contact with them.
It is our hope that this database will grow to include every pipe band in the world, making it easy for any new and prospective players to find and contact a band nearest to them.

Many visitors to the DrummingMad website are already familiar with the pipe band world. However, many more of our visitors are completely new to it, looking to start their drumming journey or simply curious as to what it is all about and if it is right for them. Getting to know and understand the lingo can be a little daunting, especially when you are a beginner. In order to help beginners and those from other drumming genres to understand the world of pipe band snare drumming and pipe bands in general, we have included a Glossary function in our site. This enables you to roll over a term such as ‘mace’ and an explanation of the word will appear. To read more of the explanation simply click on the term.
We are constantly adding to the glossary so if you come across a term you do not know, please click here to contact us to let us know the term. We will find the explanation for it an add it to the glossary to help out both you and future visitors.
Our brand new DrummingMad Blog will be where you can find all kinds of tips, tricks, resources, discussions and interviews, news and updates, and more. With regular updates, helpful information and handy tips, we aim to make the DrummingMad Blog your new go to for all your drumming information.
